While he was a student attending Tuck’s university, with his sister, such an opportunity arose when the Elders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints knocked on his door. He phoned the Elders and the meetinghouses, but no one answered. Determined to gain contact with them he went to the Elder’s address, only to discover that they had moved. When he went to the meetinghouse there was no one there either. This time, he prayed. He asked God to send him His people, and in his mind he saw the Elders. A few days later two Elders knocked on his door. “He scrabbled to the door and asked for our phone number, asked us to leave and that he would call us that night.
