Hells Angels Book Reports

I believe before Jack got grounded he was confused, and worried about consequences. He had too many people telling him opposite things. Witch made him do the wrong things. That lead to almost losing an important friendship. Leaving home while being grounded. Last an encounter with the Hells Angels. Also if Jack didn’t cut down the corn I think the book would have ended sooner, and most of the important things in the book would not have happened. His dad also made it sound like cutting the corn was a good idea. Jack’s dad said if he cut the corn he would get to ride in the airplane.
Since Jack was grounded for cutting the corn for a runway, his dad made him dig all day every day. Jack always felt lonely and bored Bunny his best friend usually snuck up behind him and talked to him. Jack enjoyed this because he was out there all by himself. She always wanted to play but Jack always regrettingly said no. He really did want to play but he also was super afraid of his mom and what she might do. His mom did give him a chance to play but he blew it.

The whole town was scared and worried about their little town, after the Hells Angels stole a really expensive casket and the dead body of their fellow brother. Soon after they kept coming back at night to burn down the unoccupied houses for revenge. When Jack snuck out to meet Bunny he was worried his mom would find out again. He thought if he put on dark clothes no one would see him. But when he tried to stop one of the angels from burning down a house, man said “ I’m gonna kill you!” (Gantos,2011,p.247) Jack was scared out of his mind he thought he was dead right then and there, he didn’t even know that he was running. that's how scared he was. Jack-O’-Lantern History On halloween or maybe even a week before, do you make jack-o-lanterns? Jack-o-lanterns come from Ireland ideas which, they first carved faces into turnips and potatoes. They did not use pumpkins because Ireland was not introduced/had pumpkins until someone figured it was a better canvas in America. Jack-o-lanterns were used (as turnips and potatoes) to ward off evil spirits and had an ember in it.…

KARNSTREET is a gritty, crime drama that centers on two major rival gangs. Their rivalry leads to a vicious gang war. The script does a nice job of showing the violent side of gangsters and their need for control. The stakes are life and death. While there are certainly strengths to the presentation, the script would benefit from more development in the area of structure, pace, and character development, as well as the professional presentation.…

This is another story about Jack when he went out traveling about looking for some work. He was walking down this road, whistling and whittling on an old branch he’d found. Jack was just putting some finishing touches on that paddle, when he saw a great big peach tree on the side of the road. I believe that the story of Little Red Riding Hood follows the virtue ethics because virtues involves who a person is becoming. Little Red’s mother tells her to stay on the path while delivering goods to her ill grandmother, but after not listening to her mother’s instructions, Little Red stumbles off the path and picks flowers for her grandmother. Virtue ethics involves, “what we do when no one is watching”. I believe that since Little Red was alone in the woods, she could have easily eaten the basket of goods or decided to go over her friend’s house for fun. Instead, she picked out flowers for her grandmother out of love and no one was there to tell her what to do.…

When society breaks down, death and destruction incur. In the book The Lord Of The Flies by William Golding the effects of the breakdown of society is a major theme. Humans identities are formed when society’s rules and laws are non existent, and humans are forced to rely off of their own morals. This can be seen when Ralph’s tribe is demolished by Jack because of Jack 's different ideology . In addition, Piggy’s logic and intelligence when talking about advanced topics on the island also show how identity is formed through a lack of societal laws.…
