It's been a long day, Heith Hernandez was having quite a rough day. Waking up his coffee machine was broken, then he trying to wash his clothes the washing machine caught fire, and then he stubbed his big toe which is always the worst. The drive to work was absolutely horrible, with the city in a complete gridlock it made driving virtually impossible.

Working at the Cincinnati zoo was a blessing and a curse, with sometimes being no work and other times being way too much work, but aside from just normal work, not many things out of the ordinary happened in Cincinnati zoo. "Heith, we are a little short-staffed today, could you please work overtime, ok thanks." Said Heather, Heiths manager while Heith was putting on his uniform. "But, I have to see my grandmother who's in the hospital!" Heith cried to Heather in a desperate attempt to change Heather's mind. "I guess you'll have to see another day." Retorted Heather, and with that, she walks away leaving Heith with an awful feeling in his stomach making today a truly horrible day.

All these kids are giving him a headache and aggravating him with their stupid questions. SCREECH, Heith snaps his head towards the yell to find something that he’d never dare to think of. A kid climbed over the fence that was separating the public from the gorilla pit. The kid was about the climb over the second fence that if he does he will fall into the pit. Heith sprints over to the kid yelling over all the shocked adults and kids crying. The kid gives eye contact to Heith that quickly climbs over the fence and goes to the other side. Heith makes a sprint over to the other side of the pit to see better, and he sees the kid, sitting in the water at the bottom of the enclosure. Heith calls to support, and notices something. One of the gorillas is climbing down from the top, to come to the bottom of the pit.

Realization The table was slightly illuminated by the dim, golden light from the lamp, casting blurred shadows against the walls. Papers were strewn everywhere across the wooden surface, rustling gently as a cool wind drifted through the open windows. The places that the lamp’s meager light could not reach were slightly lit up by the soft, silver moonlight. With a small huff of breath, I pinched my nose bridge, trying to fend off the headache that was steadily throbbing through my brain.…
