I incorporated pictures of cobblestone streets and a few of the many luxuries that comes with living in the city. The city has all of the latest technology including a wheelchair, used by her friend, and a telegraph. Another luxury that was added to the collage and that was in the city was bread, cheese, and milk. For the real article on the black and white side, I chose to add pennies to my collage. Pennies represented wealth in the book. In the city, wealth means more than the environment. After I added the pennies, I added a quote that complemented the theme and poster. The quote is, “The poor child felt like a little bird in a glittering cage.” I means that she would have rather been in the mountains instead of having all of the luxuries in the
