Hector Guillermo Garcia, 35 years old, died on September 29th 2016. He died while sleeping in his bed. Hector Garcia was born on November 13, 1980 in Monjas, Guatemala. He was the son of Jose Maria Garcia and Floresmila Gutierrez Galicia.
He attended Wooster High School and graduated in 2000. Hector Garcia also attended the University of Nevada, Reno; he was pursuing a Bachelor in Human Development and Family Studies; he also wanted to obtain a certification as a Family Life Educator. Hector was a devoted Christian who spent his life helping people in his community. He moved from his native country Guatemala, seeking for new opportunities. He loved studying and was the first one in his family to attend a university. Unfortunately he was not able to graduate, but he left a legacy for his children. Hector worked for the Washoe County

Reaction
Creating my own obituary was not easy. Many thoughts ran through my head. I did not know if I wanted to write my obituary like if I died today or if I wanted to do it like I die many years from now. I also did not know what type of death I wanted to put in the obituary. Did I want it to sound like a peaceful death or a drastic one? It was hard to evaluate myself about how I wanted to be remembered. It was hard to give myself credit for the things I have done because I do not like to praise myself; my belief is that other people should give testimony about the things I have done.
However, the experience of having to think about how I wanted to be remembered allowed me to analyze about the things I am doing now and the things I should be doing. Many thoughts crossed my mind while I was writing my obituary. I thought of my children and my spouse, and the pain they would experience if I die today. I thought about the financial burden I would leave to my family if I died today as
