Do you ever wonder what it would be like to choose your career over motherhood and becoming a wife? Mother of the World.net had the intimate moment to speak with an amazing woman who made that choice, and never gave up on her ambitions and aspirations as an artist. However in the meantime, she became a mother in the film and still photography industry. Bower continues to mentor, teach, and guide young aspiring film makers today. Heather Bower is a pioneer who has paved the way for numerous women not only in her generation, but she has a created a legacy for generations of women in the industry for infinite years to come. However, later on I discovered that they did not have any women in the union. A man blatantly said to me "Young Lady we just don't want women in the union!" I have been working in television and someone stole my ideas, so I thought joining the union would be a good way to protect my craft. I followed my own instincts and put away any negative comments and decided to try to join the union. "If I want to do something I just do it." I met with the Attorney General and his wife to explain to him my plans for joining the still photography union. The Attorney General had to work tediously for long hours fighting for me to enter the union. The only way that a woman would be considered for entrance would be by taking an exam would have to show that I had the same photography skills of my male counterparts or better. Being that I am more of an artist, and not necessarily a test taking person I failed the exam miserably, but later on discovered that my male counterparts failed the exam as well, so they could no longer deny my entrance into the still photography union and the rest is
