Flipping through the pages of “Times magazine” seeing this little girl crying, holding a house caught my attention. This ad shows her holding a wooden doll house and a man on the inside sitting on the couch harassing her in a cartoon character body. The words at the bottom right side of the paper reads,” speak for her call 911 for help to report child sex abuse”. This ad shows a little Hispanic girl who looks to be about five years old in pain and don’t know how to ask for help. The doll house she’s holding resembles what she has been going through. It could’ve happened repeatedly and someone finally noticed. This ad should open parent / guardian eyes, who don’t pay that much attention to their children. Kids ages 3-12, don’t really know how to express by mouth “mommy I’ve been raped (sexually assaulted)”. Which now is very common in homes, especially when the mother isn’t always around to watch her children. Kids those ages are in practically scared, nervous and frightened for their lives.

The appeal of character; as a child psychologist would say “Children who have and are being sexually assaulted affects their future and daily lives”. They tend to become, anti-social, isolate themselves from others, don’t like to be touched and etc. Often time’s mothers have boyfriends if they aren’t already married and ask him to babysit, while she’s out. Mother’s boyfriends can’t always be trusted. It’s even more tragic when it’s the child’s biological father someone they’ve gained trust for. Both sexes are likely to become homosexual in result. So why not pay more attention to your children, who shows you signs that something is wrong and call “911” if it has already happen.
