Have you ever had your heart racing? Well I have, let me tell you about it… it was a awfully hot summer day in Sioux City Iowa. I was taking a cold shower because it was so hot. After I got done I walked into the kitchen and I could smell my favorite food. Bacon! Darted over the couch onto a chair and stuffed my mouth full of bacon. When I stuffed my mouth that’s when I realized it just got done. I sprinted to the garbage and spit it all out. My dad came up to me and said,”so want do you think?”
“About what?”.I said with curiosity. “About the big game we face the Explorers.” (they never lost a game yet). “ I mean I guess”.
After I got done I went to my room got dressed and put my shoes then left to go to tanners. Tanner only lives a few

We finished are warm ups and started the first inning. We are home so we take the field first. It was a three up three down. Were up to hit. I was the lead off. I got my bat and helmet, walk out of the dugout and head to the white box. Got a base hit and next batter did the same. We both scored it was 2-0 we are up. We were battling to the end. 2-2 top of the third. 3-4. 4-4. Next thing I know it’s the bottom of the fifth. 6-5 we are up by one, two outs I’m pitching and chase Montagne is up. He’s the best hitter in the league. I take a deep breath and tell myself I got this. The tying run is one third the pressure is on. I get in the wined up and throw the first pitch. STRIKE ONE! I threw the next pitch. Ting! Foul ball, strike two. All of the sudden the crowed raised and cheered me on. I threw again and again he keeps on nicking them. I got frustrated. I threw the hardest ball I ever threw in my life. The ball came out of my hand like a smooth rock getting tossed in the lake. Ting! I heard the sound of the bat. I looked for the ball I couldn’t find it. Then all of the sudden everything stop. I looked up and saw the ball right above my eyes. I couldn’t believe it the ball was frozen right in front of my eyes. The light above the fields blind me. I flet my left hand come to my face. When I felt my hand come closer, the ball started to move. It was a inch away I jerked my hand to my face and bam! Everything was back to normal
