Decent Essays
If you have some hearing problems go to Dr.Karen Mills. She is a Audiologist and a very good one at that she had a lot to say about being an Audiologist she knew everything about it and she got a Doctorate degree in it. She was telling us about how there was three types of hearing loss one being just mechanical hearing loss like too much earwax in your ears then, there was another one like if your eardrum was busted some times it could heal back and seal but other times if the hole was too wide big it wouldn't heal. And one more is nerve damage oh and btw wich means by the way you can't get that back.
Dr.Mills has a pretty cool job and from the way she talked about it she she absolutely LOVES her job. I mean she talked about it like it was a privilege and I guess in a way it is because she gets to work with babies as well as adults. And there is a lot of cool gadgets like earbud hearing aids. And there are many different kinds of hearing aids like earbuds they go inside your ear,and then there is the regular one that sits on your ear. And there are somethings they make that you can bluetooth them to your phone and you can listen to music. And there are speaker looking things that you put by the tv to make it easier to hear it.

She said that you have to get it done by a professional/or someone with a degree in it. And that there are apps that you can download to adjust your hearing aid like if you can barely hear then you could turn it up or if it's too loud turn it down but once again she said you need a professional to do that so if your hearing could come back it won't damage it more. Her job seems pretty important. Maybe that's why she loves it so
