Healthy People 2020 Leading Health Indicators (HP 2020) goals are basically to help people live a longer healthier life. I think that this is a great thing. So many people do not take very good care of themselves. They do not go to their routine checkups which provide flu vaccinations. Just getting a simple vaccination like the MMR can help prevent so many complications in your life as your get older. So, HP 202 is trying to introduce public awareness. I think this is a great idea. Working in a hospital you see so many sick people and the sad thing is that most of their problems could have been prevented just by taking better care of themselves. I feel that education is key in healthcare. We need to speak to the people and make them aware.
