Healthy Food In America

Decent Essays
Seventeen percent of American children are overweight or obese. However, with help from healthy eating habits, physical activity, and Let’s Move!, childhood obesity could be defeated. America might be healthy again.

Fruits and vegetables, are some of the most healthy foods. Some other healthy foods are proteins, dairy products, and grains. Due to processed foods, Americans eats about sixty-six pounds of sugar a year. Schools in America, now provide healthier food options. Choosing the healthy options is key to healthy eating and that is all it takes.

Did you know very little teenagers get enough physical exercise? A big part of why Americans are overweight, is because they don’t exercise daily or at all. Exercise can be anything from walking
