How does it protect and promote the economic interests of its members? It does this by giving information and support to help people make the right decisions in the aging process therefore making it a much simpler transition. This group provides a directory of not-for-profit organizations committed to meeting people?s needs as they age.

What people or organizations does this stakeholder group represent? Per the AHA website, AHA leads, represents and serves hospitals, health systems and other related organizations that are accountable to the community and committed to health improvement.
How does it protect and promote the economic interests of its members? It does this by ensuring legislators see the impact of fund cuts, ensures that policymakers understand the set-backs created by out of date regulation, make sure that everyone knows the impact that hospitals have on the community, this organization is also a channel through which hospitals share information.
Describe its advocacy activities. They advocate for lower drug costs, Medicare access and coverage, affordability, and Medicaid just to name a few.
What are the principal issues it seeks to promote? This organization seeks to make sure that the community has the quality and services in healthcare that help it stay healthy and productive.
What are the principal regulatory actions or proposed laws it opposes? It opposes any cuts to healthcare funding, opposes price increases to medications, and lack of access or affordability of healthcare …show more content…
MDMA provides members only monthly webinars and a yearly forum. I was not able to find any publications.
How are members engaged in lobbying or communicating with elected and administrative officials? The organization provides a link on their website which leads to access for congressional representatives for each state.

What people or organizations does this stakeholder group represent? The ANA represents the interests of the nation's 3.4 million registered nurses
How does it protect and promote the economic interests of its members? It does this by advancing the nursing profession. It fosters high standards of nursing practice. It promotes the rights of nurses in the workplace, and by lobbying the Congress and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and the public.
Describe its advocacy activities. The ANA puts the issues of working nurses in the forefront so policies are not created that hinder their working conditions.
