Prerequisite courses must be at the 4U level with no individual grade below 60%, and grade 12 4U/4M credits for co-op work experience will not be considered as part of the six courses. The next step is to apply online through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) with your Personal Access Information, login information, which you can get from your guidance office. The Base Application Fee charged by the OUAC is $150 and for each university/program choice beyond the base three universities is $50. Once you have applied you will later receive a confirmation email that it has been received along with your Carleton application number and other important information regarding the status of your application. If the program you are taking has any specific application requirements then you would follow them as instructed on the Carleton website. Then you may soon later receive an offer package in the mail, if you receive a conditional offer of admission your application will be reassessed once they receive your final grades to ensure that you still meet the requirements for your program. Another advantage is that since the school is surrounded by the Rideau river and canal that means that I can go for a walk with nice scenery and I can also go skating in the winter if I have time. Some disadvantages is that this school is not most known for it’s medical field which I might want to head into in the future. Another point that attracts me to this University is that while on campus after classes I can go outside for a jog by the river, to the pool to swim or go to the gym to run if it’s too cold
