Survey Results I think the Career Cluster Survey did a good job on putting ‘Health Science’ as my top cluster. I also took the Basic Skill Survey and there was a lot of loyalty-like traits. The career that I am striving for needs a lot of those traits. One of my next top clusters were Hospitality and Tourism, Human Services, and Information Technology. Another one of my top clusters were Finance and Education and Training. I was really debating whether to do Health Science or Education and Training because those are my top interests. After all, I picked Health Science because the career that I chose is a Pediatrician and it is something I will enjoy researching about.

I chose to use a career in psychiatry, software developing, and security analytics. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor that is able to prescribe medicine and treat psychological troubles. A software developer is responsible for computer programming and does activities such as designing, installing, and testing software. An information security analyst is responsible for planning and carrying out ways to protect and ensure security for an organization’s computer networks and systems. Each of the 3 careers I chose received a high rating for salary because based upon my sources, all of the careers are payed very high and the salary should be enough to support the needs of an average family and have money for the family’s wants.…

What I found surprising, was that education and training was a recommended field for someone with my interests in the career cluster assessment. Learners of education and training need a strong background of presentation/facilitation skills and I am not a person who particularly enjoys presenting information to people in a group setting. I find speeches to be nerve-wracking and anxiety inducing. I do enjoy sharing my ideas with others; however, sharing ideas in front of large groups of people is not something I enjoy. The results from HCI said, one of the recommended careers for someone with my interests is a nuclear medicine physician.…

I got the list of two career cluster recommendations which included, first, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Second, Arts, A/V Technology and Communication. These careers fit my interests that is totally right, but the health careers best fit my interests.…

#1 Science major is one of my passions since I had taken Biology and Chemistry classes at high school. At that time, I have found myself significantly interested in remembering and understanding the morphologies and characteristics of animals, and microorganisms, as well as learning how the chemical substances are reacted or separated from each other. This passion continuously goes with me until I have attended to California community college. Before considering about the main major, I spend time to do some online career tests to check for my personalities, such as MBTI test (Myers-Briggs Type Indicators), which I have received the result for my personality as the Idealist.
