Joan and Sanford I. Weill Cornell Medical College’s Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP) is a catalyst in achieving my personal goals. After speaking to previous participants of the program, I was determined to join and excel first-handed. One of the reasons that those I spoke to discussed the program with pride was because of its atmosphere. Motivated and knowledgeable, Weill Cornell medical students truly set standards of professionalism. I hope to uncover the processes and factors played in reaching the position of a medical student, as my true desire is to become one myself and become an esteemed cardiologist.
