Health informatics is one of the fast growing field that innovating the quality of patient care. A master’s degree in health informatics will help me to achieve my goal to join the team that can make changes in patient care. Electronic health record is a useful tool that includes history of diagnosis and other clinical documents in a single electronic file. Implementing Electronic health record on hospital information technology will vastly improve the quality of patient care; therefore, employers are looking for candidates that have clinical background as well as an education in health informatics.
