Identify an Area of Health Disparity, and Find a Bill/Policy Affecting that Disparity
Health disparities can be defined as inequalities that exist when members of certain population groups do not benefit from the same health status as other groups. Disparity area that I like to focus on is the racial and ethnic minorities who experience for poor quality care due to cultural difference, language barriers, effects of disability, and providers’ cultural competency. As a narrowing concept of minority, my research will be focusing on federal policy for undocumented immigrants who are in the time of settlement in America newly. It is vital for providers to understand patients’ health care needs and for patients to understand providers’ diagnosis
