According to the U.S News and World Report, University Hospital San Antonio stands at First position in the city for the sixth year in a row. While at the state level, the hospital stands at sixth position. The Mission of UHS includes teaching the next generation of health professionals, and support to research along with intentions to promote good health in the community by providing quality care. The half a century affiliation with UT Medicine was recently extended to a long-term partnership to provide high-quality care to the people of Bexar County and South Texas.
