The United Nations have listed health care as a natural born right, and the increasing cost of the health care in the United States has reached a debatable crisis. Even if you do have health insurance it’s a financial burden on most families. In many other countries the health care is controlled by the Government and all the citizens are provided with government assisted health care. Not every person is able to afford healthcare in the United States, but If you are fortunate enough to afford health insurance it’s usually through your employer. One method is the single-player system, in this system the government pays for the doctors and hospital visits, the government must collect funds and fees in order to pay for this system, skeptics of this system oppose it mainly because they do not want the government to control medical wages. A different method is the Rationing plan. Rationing in the dictionary means to divide up something that everyone needs in this case it’s healthcare. A key component when dealing with healthcare is that not every medical service can be provided for every single person it simply is not possible due to money and resources. This would be used to determine how much money to spend on drugs, the elderly, and the children. Supporters of this method believe this is the best way to provide as many people as possible with healthcare. Finally the third system is the Mandate System which was passed in 2006 in Massachusetts. In this system all residents are required to get medical insurance if you could not afford it the government would assist some.
