This paper explores access to health care in Argentina and Haiti as well as societal impacts. Health care can be analyzed by looking at past improvements implemented by government and foreign assistance agencies. This paper also examines the differences of Argentina and Haiti’s focus in regards to health care. While Argentina’s government focuses on the citizens’ feedback to improve their health care system, Haiti’s government does not prioritize health care as evidenced by their poorly structured health care system. Also examined are factors that impact health care, such as access to care, health expenditure, governmental assistance, available technology, coherent planning, condition and sanitation of health care facilities, and health indicators. The research suggests that Argentina has better access to care, while Haiti is still in the process of improving. The Increased Need for a Structured Health Care System Health systems deliver reliable and quality health services that are aimed at making a difference in people’s lives.
