Your paper was very informative. I agree with what you said and even though the Affordable Care Act (ACA) helps people who would otherwise be without health insurance. Likewise, I feel that the problem with health care disparities lies not only withing the health care systems, but with the government also.
There is a significant need to end the disparities between the haves and the have-nots. To end the social injustice that has gripped our nation for a long time. In addition, not only do the nurses need to look past the diversity and treat people as equal, but we as nurses need to be an Advocate for our patients and to fight for the rights of all our patients.
