The health care delivery system is not a static system as it experiences changes daily and in some cases hourly. Staff members tend to think that leaders and managers will save the day by helping them cope with the ever-changing health care environment, maybe making it disappear; however, nurse leaders and managers also struggle to cope with change and to help staff.
