Ramona Adult Day Health Care Center mission statement is to promote and encourage the highest level of self-care and independence through an organized day program consisting of social, health and therapeutic activities.
Ramona Adult Day Health Care Center serves individuals within the city of Baldwin Park and nearby cities. The client population in this center are mostly Filipino and Hispanics. There are few Caucasian, Chinese, and Blacks. Clients age range from mid-thirties to late-nineties. All participants who are enrolled in this center have low-socio-economic status in which depend on social security disability checks and have medical conditions and/ or mental impairments. Client’s need is addressed and is provided with additional support. Most of the clients are rapidly assisted and taken into consideration when referred to In-Home Support Services, Access, and social security because the center has built good communication throughout the years.
Some funding that Ramona Adult Day Health Care Center receive is from Administration of Aging, Department of Health and Human Services, and state funding for adult day care. The Administration of Aging provides funding to increase the quality of care elderly. The Department of Health and Human Services provide grants such as for food programs in which covers the expenses of purchasing and providing meals to the clients. Other state funding is provided to support the center and it services as well as covering the cost of additional programs. Donations from the local community are also provided to the

In-Home Support Services (IHSS)

Individuals who qualify can hire their own provider to help them with personal care services, domestic services, protective supervision, paramedical services, and accompaniment to medical appointments.

ASI provides paratransit transportation services to individuals with disabilities who are unable to use public transportation.
3. Social Security Administration (SSA)

SSA handles retirement payments, issues social security numbers, and administers the supplemental security income program, among other services.
