As for health care providers, family health assessment is very important to help gathering complete data about a family, so in result, it will help nurses to formulate an appropriate care of plan that is best fit this family. In fact, every family has their own health beliefs and values. Gordon 's 11 functional health patterns is an analytic framework based on types of functional health patterns. As far as their cognitive status, they considers themselves to be very knowledgeable. More so, they stated by having a nurse in the family helps them understanding a lot about their current health. During the interview, the husband identified to be very knowledgeable about his disease process by verbalizing multiple good facts on how to manage his hypertension. Furthermore, they stated they all have good memory and they can remember stuffs from birth till now. In the sensory pattern, the data collection is focused on the use of sensory functions. Every year, they all go to their eye doctor to check their vision, which it always reveals to them to have good vision, and their hearing ability has not been compromised. Driving at night has not been a problem for this family. When receiving instructions, they all prefer to read the learning concepts
