I didn’t enjoy the game of baseball as much because it was too slow and there was a lot of standing around. However, soccer was, and to this day still is, my favorite sport to play. I think I enjoy it so much because it constantly has action, with my adrenaline going the entire game. Also, I was always a smaller kid when I was that age compared to the rest of my peers, and soccer was a game that size didn’t matter as much. I was able to work on my skills and perfect my own game. Ever since I started wanting to play sports my parents have encouraged me to do my very best. Even to this day, my parents are great motivation because they are both physically active and healthy themselves. My mom does yoga and walks our dog fairly regularly and my dad goes to the gym and has played sports his whole life. This is exactly the type of role models that I would want in my life, because they provide me with a good image of where I can be if I put in the same amount of effort they have.
This motivation is a good starting point for myself when planning my future. To me, regardless of what type of activities or healthy lifestyle someone wants to live, it all starts with setting goals. I have and will continue to set myself goals that I can work towards in my personal life, as well as professional life. Without these goals, an individual can become stale with what they are doing, which makes them disinterested and inevitable stopping that
