Health Academy has become my favorite academic subject. Health Academy is a pathway that teaches you the many opportunities of the health field; from nurses, radiologist, veterinarian, to many more. I’ve had gained many opportunities from taking this class for two years, especially a great amount of community service. One of the opportunity that i got to learn a large amount of material in a short amount was getting to shadow radiology at a local hospital, John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, for a day. I learned the about the multiple job opportunities in radiology from a radiologist technician to ultrasonographer. They demonstrated how to get an x-ray and the importance of labeling each image correctly and the different angles need for each
