It is estimated that about 1 % to 2% of patients that comes to the emergency department suffers from headaches not related to trauma. Headache occurs when there are underlying problem. It can be a minor or a life threatening headache (Sheehy’s, 2010).
There are two types of headaches. Primary headache can be categorize as migraine, tension-type headache (TTH), cluster headache and other trigeminal autonomic cephalgias and other primary headache (Brashers, 2006). It occurs when the cerebral vasculature, cranial nerves, cervical nerves and musculature are irritated.
