The other preschool classroom I observed was the Desert Vista High School Early Learning Center. The indoor environment of their classroom is smaller than my dream classroom but there is many different places for the children and students to play with toys, games and sing silly songs. Their indoor environment is very energetic because of the places and things that the children can play and do in the classroom with their classmates and teachers which is important because they want the children to have fun and feel safe. The outside environment is very cool because the children are able to do what they want and play and run off some energy but they are also able to play some pretty cool games with other children. There daily schedule is very simple because…

Children are allowed to make their own choices about play. Making these decision helps them to make connections about choices and consequences (NAEYC, n.d.). To facilitate optimal development, the teacher must engage the child while at play (Kieff & Casbergue, 2000). The educator intentionally considers activities that are appropriate for the child. This consideration includes activities that are age-appropriate, culturally appropriate, as well as individually appropriate (Kieff & Casbergue, 2000).…

There are many curriculum development models that are presented to us from well-known scholar, like, Hilda Taba, Ralph Tyler, William Alexander, which would help in clarifying the process of curriculum developmental. For the program, we have applied Hilda Taba’s Model which is, Taba’s Curriculum Developmental Model. This curriculum model demonstrated teacher’s approach, which she believed that it should be the teacher who design the curriculum rather than authorities. She also believed that, teacher is the main generator to stimulate the students because teachers are aware of the students’ needs, he or she has identified the students’ limitations and strength in the syllabus and skills that need to be improved by students.…
