I am applying for the position of Head Guard. I feel that I would fill this position very well because of my leadership and organizational skills. My leadership and organizational skills come from when I was a patrol leader in Boy Scout Troop 806 for 2 years. As a patrol leader I was in charge of a group of about 10 kids in the troop. During campouts I had to assign jobs to all of my scouts, and make sure they stayed on task. These jobs ranged from setting up tents to cooking a meal. I always had to keep a watchful eye during campouts because my scouts could get distracted and get off task easily.
