Introduction:
Gunshot deaths are self-inflicted in most of the cases with incidence rate per 100,000 populations in 2001 was 0.14 in UK in which suicidal and homicidal deaths represent 65% and 7% respectively, and with a rate of 10.2 in US in which suicidal and homicidal deaths represent 67% and 27% respectively.1
In study of 64 firearm deaths in Dammam, the age of the cases was ranging from 16 to 45, in which suicidal injuries accounts for 11% of all fatalities. In 80% of the cases the used weapon is a handgun, and about 56% of the cases showed a single entrance wound.2

The existence of torn burnt fabric in red headscarf associated by blacking, as well as pathological examination report existence of powder particle deposition and heating changes in the entrance wounds are consistent with near contact or loose contact wounds.1,4 A common finding seen with entrance and exit wound in skull with firearm injuries are existence of radiating factures as in this case, as well as fracture of anterior cranial fossae which is indirect effects of low and high-energy firearm and may lead to bruising and blacking of eyes.1,3
The bullet path is from below upward, from right to left and from back to front, which is consistent with suicide except for the direction from back to front is uncommon for suicide.1,6
