It would be unethical of her to bring a new life if she knows that she would show signs as she grows older. If it was me I wouldn’t have conceived by IVF or even naturally because when conceiving naturally I would be putting the baby at risk of getting the disease since there is 50% chance of the baby to get the disease. Also when conceiving with IVF I would be doing something unnatural and I would be going against my belief. What I would have considered is adoption since the parents are desperate for a baby. They would take the child as their own and they would save themselves from the pain and stress that comes with IVF treatment. Furthermore with adoption they would be giving a baby that need love the love that they would have given to their “tube baby”.
