I advised Garcia of the incident that occurred, which Garcia was aware of the incident. I asked Garcia if she heard or saw anyone. Garcia stated that she was in her room and did not see anyone, but Garcia stated that she did hear someone in the apartment (#2119). Garcia stated that it sounded like if someone was moving books and posters around. I asked Garcia about what time this was, which she stated approximately 1640. I asked Garcia if she heard someone talking, which she stated no that she thought it was is her neighbor. Garcia filled and signed out a Voluntary Statement.
I was then advised by Lt. Gonzalez of some evidence that was located outside of the window (north). I then made my way to Lt. Gonzalez to find a green leafy substance approximately a foot away from the window (see photos). I took photos and search the area for any more evidence, which I did not find anymore. I gathered the green leafy substance to be tested back at the University Police Department (UPD).
Note: I was instructed by Lt. Gonzalez to obtain the finger print kit from UPD and bring it back to Lt.
