1.0 Introduction
According to the World Economic Forum entitled The Future of Jobs, there are eight job categories that are expected to see growth include data analysts, computer and mathematical jobs, architects and engineering jobs, specialised sales, senior managers, product designers, human resources and organisational development specialists, and regulatory and government relations experts (New Straits Time, 2017). Hoping to get a good job with high salary would surely become everyone’s dream. In addition, according to The 2016 Hays Asia Salary Guide, 53% of Malaysians consider salary and benefits as a top priority when choosing a job (Astro Awani News, 2017). His score is 16, 12 and 10 respectively. His highest score is Realistic category. According to Kemboi, Kindiki, and Misigo (2016), , people with Realistic type of personality is known as an active and stable. They enjoy hands-on activities such as working with the machines or repairing tools. Haziq seems to value practical things where he can maximise the use of his senses. From the items chosen under the Realistic category, it portrays that Haziq has good skills in working with tools, mechanical or machines. It also reflected from his hobby, which is playing video games. He also believe that his skill in playing video games is better than his friends. According to Nasrien, Ali and Hosein (2014) individual with realistic personality type prefers jobs like engineering. As proposed by Rounds and Su (2014), interests affect the direction and persistence of the goal-oriented behaviours, it is expected that interests will predict goal attainment in educational and work settings. Hence, if I were the teacher, I would help Haziq in fulfilling his dream to be an engineer. I believe that he needs motivation to boost up his passion to be one. One of the ways to boost his motivation is by giving him books related to the preferred job. According to Vosh and Schauble (2014, as cited in Nyamwange, 2016) motivation directs the individual toward selecting activities that will accomplish their goals and at the same time satisfy interests accomplish a goal or pursue an interest. The books will keep the interest in him besides provide more information for him on the potential criteria needs to be achieved in order to be an engineer. Furthermore, as a teacher, I should aware that Haziq needs support in terms of informational, moral and intellectual in order for him not to give up his dream if he faces any obstacles in the
