Hazelwood vs. Kuhlmer
In this case I tended to favor a loose interpretation. Even though students have the right to express their own opinions, it is necessary to have limitations in order to avoid chaos within the student body. I know the school was acting in a way of protecting its students and the majority. Yes the newspapers are a public expression but the school’s faculty has every right to change what is in the newspapers.

The factors that influenced my decision and interpretations were the fact that the people who were being interviewed were not anonymous and a lot of negative feedbacks were coming from the parents and students. I am for the majority opinion because the article was going to violate a lot of people so it was best that the faculties discarded it before it became a distraction to the students.
T.M vs. State of Florida
I am in favor of the minority opinion because it deals on the situation rather than the majority which deals on a principality aspect. There are various amounts of reasons as to why a minor can be out past eleven pm. Reasons like hanging out with friends, family dinner, work, or even studying. Many parents allow their child under the age of 18 to be out past 11 pm. I strongly believe the law should have no part into setting a curfew for children, their parents should strictly be the ones to do that.

In this case I am for the strict interpretation of the laws because the right to have freedom of assembly is very important. Every American should have equal rights but the person that is in charge, just like the guardian of the minor should be able to restrict these rights.
