Hello Everyone, I’m going to go over Hazard recognition which is defined “as the process of identifying agents or conditions which have the potential of causing harm to a worker’s health and safety”. It is a basic concept but is very important topic that many people can become complacent too, especially on the smaller aspects of the job; like walking into someone back yard and not noticing the “Beware of Dog Sign, or stepping out of the truck if your off roads and not noticing a hole or divot you can trip on”. It’s an important topic to go over with the crews to make sure that when they are filling out section 5 of the hazard assessment form they are looking at both the line work portion of their job as well as their surroundings.
