Hays Companies is a national full-service, privately-held brokerage and consulting firm which specializes in employee benefits, risk management, retirement planning, and private client consulting. Hays was founded in 1994 through the entrepreneurial spirit of James C. Hays and five other senior level individuals from major brokerage firms. Hays was formed to fill the void of customer service and creative ideas left untouched in the marketplace by then current widespread brokerage consolidations.

Our goal from the beginning has been to provide our expertise to help our clients protect assets and earnings, manage risks, and solve problems through a customized service delivery model focused on our clients’ total cost of risk. These goals
