I figured I would give you my facts before I started to ramble on~

I'm still working out my bio, but the basics are Isla is the mother of Hayley Marshall.
She is a witch/werewolf, which is rare but does exist. When Hayley was born, she and her husband were banished away from New Orleans by Josephine LaRue as a punishment. Due to the spell placed on them, Hayley's parents were never able to enter New Orleans nor even contact their children. However when Josephine is killed, they are once again able to enter New Orleans and search for their kids.

Their witch background comes from Isla's mothers side. They are a strong and powerful coven dating back centuries. However Isla's father was werewolf and therefore she became a concoction of both. Her mother /Hayley's grandmother/ did a spell to make sure her daughter and any children after that would inherit both wolf and witch gene.

Basically the Marshall's and Deveraux's were quite close, due to their witch backgrounds. They're families have always been allies. However, we don't know much about Jane-Anne's parents so this is where I went AU. The spell Isla cast which got her banished from New Orleans was also being cast with the help of Jane-Anne and Sophie's parents; Though Instead of simply banish their parents as well, Josephine killed them; leaving Sophie and Jane-Anne alone. Feeling responsible for their parents deaths, Isla took both girls in, raising them.
