“Please it was an accident. I didn’t do it on purpose. I simply answered the phone while I was ironing the blazer and it tipped over when I came back after a minute it was ruined,” explained Hayley and gesturing toward the white phone connected on the wall.
“I don’t care and what’s worse is that dinner isn’t even ready! All I asked of you is help me around the house and cook dinner when I come home from work. Is that too much to ask you ungrateful brat? All those years I have provided all you needed and a roof over your head and you show me gratitude by ruining my things?” she exclaimed. It was at this point that her aunt’s face was becoming red from her neck up to her face.
“I am grateful for everything you do for me. I know you took me in instead of sending into the foster system. I’ll go and get dinner started,” Hayley said with her head down and walked around her aunt.
Although Lana was not done with her because as she walked near her she stretched her hand out and grabbed her arm.
“Don’t worry about dinner anymore I’ll be eating while you are to go to your room and don’t come out until tomorrow. I don’t want to see you for the rest of the night.”

Heading toward the front door she spared a glance toward her aunt and saw her taking out a cell phone in which she would probably order a dinner only for herself. Closing the door she began her walk toward the barn she called her room. In reality her room was located on top of the brown barn that had seen better days and that was slowly falling apart until she managed to fix certain things. Years after collecting little trinkets here and there she was able to convert a dull and abandoned space into a room she could call her sanctuary when she needed it the
