If you see a hermit crab or sea star, just leave them alone to move along the beach they call home. Some examples of the volcanic mountains on the Big Island are Mauna Loa, Kilauea, and Mauna Kea. Also, another similarity is that both Big Island and Oahu have natural beaches. In conclusion, Big Island and Oahu have many differences and similarities, but in the end they are all a part of the hawaiian islands.…
When you are kayaking, if you look down into the water, you will be able to see a few fish, mostly Garibaldi, because they are bright orange. After you finish kayaking, there is a contest to see who can stand up the longest on their kayak. Just warning you, you WILL get wet, and if you have Stinger as your counselor, be prepared to fall in the water. Snorkeling is also really fun. You get to see lots of different plants and animals under the water.…
Fellow Hawaiians, How would you like the idea of our island, Hawaii, being annexed with the United States? Well my fellow Hawaiians, we do not have a choice but go along with it and see what it may bring us. We do not know what they have in store for us. The Americans can come up with so many great things for us and our children. We do want the best for them right?!…
"Have humility and integrity and with your perseverance, the world can be yours. "-Clarence T. C. Ching. This quote made me want to make Hawaii a better place by being humble and determined to make differences. Over the past two years I have been inspired by so many people who change the world.…

For example, you can swim with dolphins on the islands of Hawaii, also you can snorkel, whale watch, golf, surf, take a helicopter and see the whole island, experience the Hawaiian culture, go to luaus, go hiking, go to the spa, zip line, take cruises, etc. You can't do much of this in France because it's too cold there and because they don't have those things in France.…
Land of the free and home of the brave. These words define American culture and evoke patriotism among its citizens. But, if one were to look beyond the shining sentimentality and apply these words to the U.S.’s cruel history, it conjures a different feeling. In 1893, Hawaii was colonized by the United States and has since become the epitome of these famous words. Paradistic freedom balanced with brave militaristic guardians make Hawaii the perfect vacation spot, surrounded by the safety of countless military personnel.…

I’m guessing you think of all of those things, plus some, but I bet you don't think of the alphabet! Surrounded by the cold brisk air, the Alaskan wilderness is an experience very few will get the chance to witness. With the sun not setting until 2 AM the Alaskan lifestyle makes it difficult for travelers to get used to the area. Going to bed with the sun still high in the sky, it can be difficult to get some sleep. Over the summer daylight takes up most of the days, and the darkness shows for maybe three or four hours. With all the daytime the environment gives out, you have more of an opportunity to see the landscape and see different animals.…

In Hawaii, waking to the red and blue birds chirping and the oceans waves crashing on to the shore is tremendously relaxing. Looking out the window of the hotel while lying in bed, one could see crystal blue ocean crashing onto the sandy white beaches. The sand on the beaches does not feel like the beach in Panama City Beach; it does not stick to you as much and it is easier to get off. The sand is bigger grains than one might be used to. On some of the islands in Hawaii, there are black sand beaches where the sand…
