Having Twins Persuasive Essay

“Double the fun. Double blessing. Double delight” (Fierro). Why have one when you can have two? When parents find out they are having twins, it changes the situation into something they could have never imagined. There are definitely challenges when you have twins, all the way from pregnancy to teen years. Parenting twins is a major hassle, especially because there are two instead of one. Of course, raising twins is a lot harder than taking care of a single baby, due to the fact that there are two, but there are many more reasons about why it is harder. There are difficulties faced with when having twins. Firstly, an example of a difficulty that is faced with when having twins is the pregnancy in general. Twin pregnancies always bring their own troublesome complications. For instance, when interviewing Jackie Frey, a mother of twins, she mentioned that she was “very nauseated and sick all day, every day, for about three months” during her pregnancy and that she also had to have a C-section two months early of the babies due dates. Some of the complications experienced when having twins is the pregnancy itself, separation of the twins throughout their lives, and the lack of sleep or none thereof when taking care of the two babies, all while trying to do everything for them at the same time. Taking care of twins is a whole other level of difficulty then just taking care of one single person. Even after the two babies get older, and are moving on into their toddler stage and up, there are still more complications to go through. Many challenges parents face when having a single child go away as time goes by and their child gets older, but not twins. Some of the complications do not go away at all for parents who have twins, or there might even be new ones that pop up. All in all, there are always challenges faced when having
