Have kids’ competitive sports become too competitive? In a lot of cases, yes. Lots of kids join sports teams and are forced into week practices, these practices take away academic time and prevent them from doing well in school. Also with these sports getting so competitive injuries pose a more serious threat than ever. Competitive sports are harmful for kids because they can cause lost academic time and injury.
With kids’ sports becoming so competitive many kids are struggling to find time to do homework, because they have to go to 5 practices a week. This means that many kids are having less and less time to study, and can even start failing classes. Having too much practice can even be harmful. Plenty of teenagers have gotten concussions
