2. It was a hot but breezy day on Wilmington beach in North Carolina, with my toes in the sand just sitting in the warm silk sand. I'm watching the deep greenish blue waves form and come crashing down, while kids squish sand between their toes and those carts with the Italian ice are pushing through the crowd. Going to Wal-mart in town at about 5 o'clock is impossible. Everybody is just getting out of work so the traffic is horrible already. To make it worse everybody wants to pick up dinner before they go home, and Wal-mart doesn't have the best employees. Trying to find a line that doesn't have people with carts full of groceries that have already been waiting for 15 minutes isn't going to happen.
