Hatchet I believe that Hatchet has done a better job at telling the story due to. It gave a greater number of detail in the story to support whoever reads the book to more competently understand the story. For, example when the moose attacked him it gave so much detail I could feel the pain, and torture he suffered, but in the movie it did not provide as much detail as the book. When the plane crashed I could just feel the water, and I could make out the green, and blue of the lake. In conclusion I believe that the book Hatchet does a better job at telling the story than the movie Cry In The Wild.…

I thought HATCHET did a better job at foreshadowing because it actually gave you a clue of what was going to happen. In a “Cry in the Wild” I really didn’t understand what was going to happen until it happened. On the other hand,I thought since it was a movie “a Cry in the Wild” had better imagery but just by a little bit because Hatchet had a bunch of descriptive words. All in all, I thought hatchet had a better compound of foreshadowing and imagery than “a Cry in the…

Hatchet vs. A Cry in the Wild I think Hatchet did a way better job of telling the story. In “A Cry in the Wild” they had to skip many things to keep the movie so it's not to long. And in Hatchet, the author lists all the details to give a great image in your mind.…

I believe that ‘’Cry in the Wild’’does a better job of telling the story. I believe this because, the move uses foreshadowing like for an example in the move the bear. First of all, the bear never gave up on churning to destroy Brian . How ever, in the novel, there was a moose. The moose attacked Brian only two times.…

I believe that Hatchet does a better job of telling the story. I believe this because Hatchet gives us more details than the movie. In the movie “A Cry in the wild” they change more things and it is not very similar to the book. In the book it says that Brian was in the plane and all the sudden he smelt something and did not understand then Brian knew what it was it the pilot passing gas. In the movie the only thing that the pilot did was clutched his shoulder but did not pass gas.…

Paragraphs 8-12 contribute to the development of the story’s theme because the theme of the story is that you should never give up. These paragraphs describe that the hatchet is Brian’s key to survival because it could create fire. In the text it states, “He struck harder, a glancing blow, and two or three weak sparks skipped off the rock and died immediately.” This justifies the identified answer because the first few times that Brian tries to create fire, it doesn’t work.…

I haven't read either book so it may be hard for me to compare them to my example that I think comes close to yours. The movie Trouble with the Curve. The setting and 'world' defining plot aspects of all three is major league baseball. Clint Eastwood as the grizzled baseball scout and Amy Adams as his beautiful tomboy (highly successful lawyer) daughter were great actors to make this movie charming, interesting, and believable. A particular plot element that explained a lot and moved the story forward was finding out that Amy Adam's character Mickey had lost her mother at a young age.…

I think it is safe to say that if you are alone in the Canadian wilderness in an unknown situation it is no one’s ideal situation. But in the book Hatchet written by Gary Paulsen, that is what happens to 13 year old Brian Robeson when he is going to Canada to visit his dad. But when the plane he is flying in crashes because of the pilots sudden heart attack, He is stranded in the Canadian wilderness where Brian is isolated and stranded and has nothing but his hatchet and himself to try to survive. Even though Brian is stranded he manages to survive after a grueling fifty four days in the wilderness. Unlike Brian I do not think I would be able to survive because of my characteristics and my abilities to see day fifty four.…
