I think that Hatchet does a better job of telling the story. I believe this because. in the book the bear was eating berries and left Brain alone.It stated in the book chapter 7 that “The bear made no move to hurt you, to threaten you. It stood to see you better, study you, then when on its way eating berries.” But on the movie the bear attacked Brain and Brian killed the bear.Because the bear attacked Brian more than one time.
