My favorite book this year My favorite book so far this year is probably the book Hatchet. I like this book because it is a survival story. Hatchet is a very interesting book and I always want to know what happens next. It was kind of a nerve racking book because I didn’t know if the kid would die or if he would live. He had to survive a plane crash and live until someone found him. The sad part was the boy was on his way to see his father when the pilot mysteriously died. He had to survive a brutal storm and eat lots of berries. The plane crashed into a lake and with the plane went the survival gear. He had to swim to the bottom of the lake to get the gear when he also found the pilots body.
