The Holocaust and The Present
A lot can be said on the horrific events that the holocaust was a parent to. The repercussions and the aftermath of the holocaust is what is taught in history today. However, many still yet fail to see the substantial repercussions and the legacy which was left behind by the holocaust that may still be recognized in the present. The Jews were an illness to Hitler. But the Jews also had their own illnesses in the holocaust and the life in the ghettos. When the ghettos were established temporarily it was for the Jews to die by starving to death and the phobias of death to occur were among the Jews but they did not know what was to come. The illnesses caused to the Jews included lack of food, no proper shelter and suicidal ideation among themselves. These are basic needs which people need to survive. Germany in war had a lot of drug addicts and suicides occurred due to the drug cyanide. In this century suicide is more common and assisted deaths can be done legally, also drug addicts are widespread, and millions die from overdosage of drugs. Poverty is also very widespread and the same thing was in the ghettos and for the jews in world war 2. Therefore, the illnesses caused by the Nazis left a stamp in history and showed the world that suicide has become more common as even Adolf Hitler commited suicide. Facts prove that the holocaust was the world 's most obnoxious event to ever occur but no one sees the demolition of culture, the people of bewilderment and the illnesses caused to have an effect in history. The world had never seen something so egregious and the thought of murdering millions of innocent people would be only insanity. The mass killings of 10 million people can never be forgotten in history. Time will never forget the time of the nazis.
