In the article, “Has Texting Killed Romance?” by Ashton Kutcher, he describes how developed technological forms of communication are taking away our talent of being romantic. Kutcher uses examples of how people text their crushes and declare their love on Facebook or Twitter instead of calling them or sending real flowers. This reflects that the digital age has produced a new format for modern romance that young adults prefer to use digitalization to express romance. According to Kutcher, “We haven’t lost romance in the digital age, but we may be neglecting it”(100), he suggests people should express themselves intimately rather than digitally to their loved ones.
