CHOSEN CHARACTER: Johanna
STORY OF THE PLAY TOLD IN HIS OR HER VOICE AND THROUGH HIS/HER EYES:
I had an interview with Mr. Beverly Weston. He was a very interesting man who knew my daddy. His wife, Mrs. Violet Weston, was very interesting as well. She wasn’t too kind to me but I got the job anyways. Beverly is making me read a book that he is very fond of and I cannot wait to start.
I heard the awful news that Beverly has gone missing. All of his children have come into town to help search for him. Violet keeps taking her drugs and yelling at her children for many different reasons. She thinks that Ivy dresses like a lesbian and needs to find a man. It is hard for me to watch. We found out that Beverly’s boat is also missing. I am expecting

Apparently Little Charles is actually Ivy’s brother, and not her cousin. They are in love. That is incest and I am appalled by it. I also overheard some loud noises in a room downstairs. I walked in to see Karen’s fiancé Steve on top of little Jean. He was trying to touch her in private areas. I got so angry. That is completely disgusting. I began to scream and hit him with a shovel. Everyone came into the room and began yelling at each other. Poor Jean.
Today Violet asked me if I would like to quiet. I told her no. Even with all of the insanity that I witness, I really do love working for this family and I have a job to accomplish for Beverly. After this meeting I heard Barbara flirting with the sheriff. It was interesting. Apparently Beverly had checked into a motel before killing himself. I do not know what to think of this.
I overheard some more yelling and I believe that Violet told Ivy about Little Charles and now she does not wish to be with him. Apparently Violet has known all along that Little Charles was her husband’s son. I also heard Violet yelling that she may have known that her husband was going to kill himself and that she didn’t do anything to stop it. What an interesting thing to know. I do not know what to think of this. This family is so

The USAF, the United States government, the public, and the newspaper press believe that the novel, Fail Safe by Eugene Harvey and Burdick Wheeler creates controversy about the Military Forces. The USAF claims that the Fail Safe novel will just make the public believe that war can be caused by an accident, which is putting a horrible impression on the U.S. forces and puts the U.S. forces at fault. The USAF and the United States government also believes that the Fail Safe novel could be put into the hands of the communist, which could lead to several consequences, such as the U.S. prestige being damaged and how the U.S. is viewed world-wide. Principles of Hasidism (An Ultra-Orthodox sub-group of Judaism) governing his every waking moment, Reb Saunders serves as a man of devout following. Not only a follower but, a leader, referred to as a Tsaddik or “Righteous One” by the Hasidic Community. Eric Birling is a seemingly less important character in J.B. Priestley’s thriller, An Inspector Calls, but upon deep analysis, we can see that Eric is a character of great significance and has a huge impact on the play. This can be seen through the structure and shape of this whodunit and some of the language and stage directions. Eric is a very effective tool that Priestley uses to keep the tension going; be it the difference of opinion he has with his father or the suspicious behaviour, or even later on in the play, his absence which is the peak of tension.…

I never really liked Jordan, especially the way he acted towards Aunt queen when he appeared in the fifth chapter.…

Frederick Buechner once wrote “You can kiss your family and friends goodbye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world but a world lives with you.” This thought applies to The Other Wes Moore, a book written about two young boys with the same name. Both Wes Moores go through twists and turns in their lives. One grows up to be a successful certified U.S Army trooper, while the other will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Each boy’s environment greatly impacted his choices, chances, and opportunities.…
