HarryPotterLandia is a Harry Potter themed world where everything is perfect. Every day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, everyone in my land would gather in the Great Hall and eat anything that you desire at that time. Also, in my world, we have no disease and a potion that can cure anything if someone is injured. For school, we would have the perfect teachers who actually care for the students and give no homework. The boys and men in my world would be hot, mature, and not annoying. In the Great Hall, everyone sits at one, long table. There is a plate and a cup in front of everyone, you say exactly what you want, and it appears in front of you. This is every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You get to order anything you want or could …show more content…
There are no bad germs in my world that can cause sickness, not even the common flu. My world’s most brilliant scientists came up with a medicine/potion that can heal all injuries that you might acquire. With all that being said, the only way you can possibly die is of old age. Even all pregnancies go well because all of the male and female sex cells work properly hence my disease free world. We would make school a priority in HarryPotterLandia because education is crucial in life. But unlike anywhere other than my utopia, children would look forward to school, instead of dreading it. School would be this amazing place where kids can learn and have fun at the same time! Who knew that existed right? Our schools would pick the best teachers for the job and make sure that all of the students approve and like them before they actually gave them the job. And after the kids have had a blast at my three hour school day, the bell rings and there is no homework…Ever! In my world, we have the perfect boys. They are all hot and since everyone has different taste, there are all different kinds of boys. They are also all funny, mature, and not annoying. The boys that nobody likes or wants are sent to a military school where they are forced to behave, and are whipped if they don’t. My military school is escape proof because it has dementors guarding

With these influences, the boys’ lives and their perspective of masculinity changed. For Wes#1, his platoon sergeant and comrades were his greatest influences. In military school, they showed him that he could be someone greater with ambition and discipline. “He loved his brother but had learned to ignore his occasional ‘do as I say, not as I do’ tirades” (Moore 27). Wes#2 had his brother Tony as his positive influence, but he was not effective enough to stop…

Tom should tell the sheriff about the murder. Some reasons are that it is bothering Tom not telling the sheriff who was the actual murderer, it would be wrong for a innocent man to get hanged for a crime they did not commit, and it is also bad for a murder to be on the loose on the streets because he can commit more crimes. Some people would say that he should not tell because he could get killed or because he took an oath not to tell anyone, but even though he took that oath and could possibly get hurt or killed it is best for him to tell because what Injun Joe did was wrong and he should be punished for his actions and not Muff Potter who was accused for the crime.…

Long ago I demonstrated grit during my Harry Houdini biography. Being in class sharing the information I gathered on the Harry Houdini project. Sharing in front of my class, but also in front of my own parents. The moment I concluded with the reading of my biography out loud my father stood up, “You should do a magic trick,” said my dad. That moment I was in full panic mode because I did not practice a magic trick.…

I think ultimately my novel Trainspotting is a comedy mainly besause the ending I would classify as a happy one. Its kinda hard to tell because the book is centered around a really depressing and low time and its over some serious issues, but it has its comedic parts as well. In the end Renton leaves with the drug money to start a new life, it doesn’t say wether he stays clean and actually starts a new life but he is hopeful. He even mentions trying to get spud his share of the money because spud was ultimately his one true friend. There are plenty of darker moments in the novel though. Baby Dawn dies, sickboy is a man hoe and always using girls, playing his mates, and killing animals for fun, Begbie start fights for no reason other then…

“I was especially intrigued by the backstage area of the Magic Kingdom, a system of tunnels known as Utilidors beneath the park where Cast Members could travel from one land to any other without ever seeing the light of day, ascending color-coded staircases to emerge behind a fake storefront or a theater lobby” (Mitchell 678). Following this quotation, Mitchell describes the tunnels under the surface of Disney’s Magic Kingdom as a huge web of corridors used for maintenance, air-conditioning equipment, and storage of overstock. There is also a Disney bank, locker rooms, and a cafeteria. The walls are covered with insulated pipes for high-voltage cable. Overhead, there is a waste disposal system for trash to travel from multiple dumping sites…

How is it that magic works? Basic science, and some different uses of common items can make anything possible. Take for example, pictures in magic. In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, by J. K. Rowling, paintings in the world of magic are not still images, but rather LCD screens, which are connected to a live feed camera, so that those that are pictured can live their lives normally without having to sit in a picture all day. With some research that I’ve done with digital frames, I will show how magic may not be so magic after all.…

There are numerous articles about boys, often which focus on the “trouble with teenage boys”. Unfortunately, this negative stereotype can have a detrimental impact on boys’ self-belief and esteem. We can believe in gender equality and, at the same time, celebrate and acknowledge the joyful differences. In 2012, Winifred Robinson, a BBC Radio presenter and journalist, shared her thoughts on the joys of teenage boys which, I think, are really pertinent today.…

“’New Scottish Cinema’ suggests a new wave of film production and is often attributed to filmmaking that considers itself alternative or oppositional to other forms of mainstream cinema”, David Martin Jones, (2005:11).
