“Revise, revise, revise!” The echoes of my high school English teacher’s wise words still reverberate within my head whenever I am writing a paper, be it a think sheet, essay, or report. Over the years, I have fine tuned my writing process and strived to make it as efficient as possible, but as with all matters, there is always improvements to be made. The field trip to the Harry Ransom Center (HRC) was illuminating in the sense that I got to see firsthand how professional writers and great thinkers did their writing process. While there were several similarities between their writing process and mine, I also gathered some new insight into how the writing process works and gathered ideas for myself that I had not thought of doing before.
